Introduction to the wines of Burgundy, Thursday 27th October 2022

Beginning with a glass of Champagne, the evening will thereafter be dedicated to exploring the great wines of Burgundy. We will start by tasting three white wines from Chablis from three different quality levels – village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru – to get to grips with the Burgundian hierarchy system. We will then taste through a trio of whites from the famous areas of Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Pouilly-Fuissé. From there, we will move onto Burgundy’s famous red wines with a selection from the communes of Volnay, Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne-Romanée and Gevrey-Chambertin.
