Champagne Pol Roger has been producing exceptional Champagne for almost 175 years. To this day, the house remains small, family-owned, fiercely independent and unrivalled in its reputation for quality. Indeed, this quality brought about Sir Winston Churchill’s lifelong attachment to Pol Roger, who famously insisted, “In defeat, I need it; in victory, I deserve it”.

Berry Bros. & Rudd share many values with Champagne Pol Roger, having worked together since 1885. This special event, hosted in our Sussex Cellar, will celebrate our 138 years of friendship and business and the launch of Pol Rogers’ 2016 vintage. Attending guests will be the first UK customers to taste this highly anticipated release.

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy four seasonal courses created by our Head Chef, Stewart Turner, who has developed a special menu to marry with a spread of back vintages en magnum brought directly from the Pol Roger family cellars. Open and introduced on the night by Pol Roger’s General Director Laurent d’Harcourt.
