Summer2016
The new season brings with it a new menu, lighter fare and Mediterranean flavours to match the (hopefully) balmy days of a beautifully British summer. Here we’ve compiled a mouth-watering selection of wines and spirits suited to warmer days and waterside picnics, longer evenings and al fresco apéritifs.
Apéritifs

Take advantage of longer twilight hours with palate-piquing whites, moreish Amontillado and our essential spirits for the cocktail hour.
Sparkling Wines and Champagne

We need little excuse to open a bottle of something sparkling, but, if we did, summer provides plenty of reasons, with picnics, parties and celebratory sunshine.

Rosés

This blushing bunch signals the start of summer. Light, bright and berry-laden they lend themselves to apéritif o’clock and the season’s lighter fare.
