The Lakes Distillery is nestled in the picturesque environs of the Lake District. Sarah Burgess heads up the whisky-making team here, producing a range of fine bottlings.

The Velocity single malt – the first of their Apex releases – has been matured in a collection of rare Oloroso Sherry casks. It has a deep complexity of flavour, offering notes of morello cherries, dark chocolate truffles, tropical fruits and polished oak.
