Domaine J-M Sorbe

Jean-Michel Sorbe is one of the most engaging characters producing wine in the Loire Valley today. He has vines in Reuilly and Quincy and produces reds, white and rosés.

Quincy wines are often accused of lacking the subtlety and finesse associated with Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé - Jean-Michel would beg to differ and produces wines of intensity and balance. He machine harvests the grapes and then ferments them in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Without doubt the best producer in the village.
