Costers del Siurana

Priorato is in the grip of a revolution with the slate hillsides of this rugged region in north-east Spain producing world-class wines. In the front ranks of these revolutionairies is Costers del Siurana

Proprietor Carles Pastrana was one of the most important figures in Priorato in the 1980s and produces some of the region`s finest wines. Clos de l'Obac is his flagship wine, and is a blend of Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. It is aged in new oak barriques for 12 months. It requires 10 years of bottle ageing to show at its best.
