Our three Chardonnays from Burgundy complete this case, from the stalwart White Burgundy, a typical lightly oaked, with attractive ripe fruit: mouth-filling pear and ripe apple notes on the palate combine beautifully. Our Chassagne Montrachet is typically full and firm, while the Meursault is richer and fatter thanks to the terroir and oak treatment. This case is an example of just how versatile, varied, and beautiful this much-maligned grape variety can be.
