Description

There’s more to Italian food than pasta and pizza; in fact each region has its own unique cuisine and in Venice this comes in the form of cicchetti, little morsels of food perfect for accompanying a glass of wine. This evening we’ll be seeing which local wine you think pairs best with these dishes, and learning about the vast array of styles produced here as well. We’ll try 12 different wines, from Venice, and surrounding regions closely influenced by the Venetian Republic, and match them with six mini Venetian dishes, put together by our head chef. Cin cin!

The quest to find the perfect wine go with a particular dish will go on forever. At Berry Bros. & Rudd we offer an extensive selection of food and wine events to reflect this. From your classic food and wine marriages to more unique dishes, these events are perfect for brushing up on your dinner party skills, entertaining clients or for just treating your friends and family.

Having whet your appetite with a refreshing aperitif at 6.30pm, you’ll begin a pleasurable evening learning which wines work with different types of food, and why. Demonstrated over three sittings of generous sample dishes (six in total) alongside different styles of wines (minimum of eight wines), you’ll master the art of food and wine matching.

Due to the high demand for all our events, we have to restrict the number of tickets that we can sell to any individual to a maximum of 4 tickets (subject to availability).
