One Day Wine School
Our one-day wine schools are a great way to get a thorough overview of a region in a day.
Starting in the morning with tea and coffee on arrival, we spend around 2 hours exploring the region, with 8-12 wines showcasing all different styles. With the basics covered, we head to our vaulted Napoleon cellar for an aperitif and to put the morning’s education to the test with 5 more wines paired over a delicious lunch, crafted by Head Chef Stewart Turner.
The day finishes around 3.30pm.

From the windswept volcanic island of Santorini, via the verdant slopes of Samos, the soils of ancient Crete, the ever changing uplands of Greece, and on to Cyprus surrounded by its wine-dark sea, Demetri Walters MW will present an array of wines that will both surprise and reward you. The Hellenic wine regions enjoy some of the most ancient vine material on the planet, and can lay claim to being the cradle of much of the world’s wine culture. The morning’s tutorial might well lay to rest many misapprehensions. Inevitably, we will drink them again over lunch together! No great hardship.
