Nikolaihof, the oldest wine estate in Austria, make this Grüner Veltliner for us, using solely organic and biodynamic fruit. Selbach-Oster’s offering is an exhilaratingly light, off-dry Riesling from the heart of the Mittel Mosel. The talented Jean Luc Terrier and Christian Collovray are behind our white Burgundy – a floral, lemongrass and apricot-filled wine. The last wine in this selection is a noble Nebbiolo from Piedmont's most famous wine DOCG, renowned for producing Barolo. The high quality 2010 vintage is richly complex and drinking perfectly now.
