Description

Is biodynamics a science or a dark art, and in either case does it matter to consumers? In other words: do biodynamic wines taste better? We are not the first to put biodynamic wines to the test, so we will first dip into a bit of history and practice and then move directly to the challenge, blind-tasting pairs of wines made with and without certified biodynamic practices to decide for ourselves whether there is truth to the claim that biodynamic wines “have more fine-tuned aromas and flavours than 'normal' wines”. As we are tasting them blind we’ll not divulge in advance which wines they are, but you may be assured of some very exciting pairs.

N.B. Wines for this event have been chosen from Berry Bros. & Rudd historic stocks and may not be available to order following the event

Tutored Tastings

Tutored Tastings

Treat yourself, your family or a client to one of our exclusive tutored tastings. One of our experts will guide you through a range of wines or spirits while educating you on the evening’s topic. From style and regional focusses to cheese and wine pairings, these are unmissable chances to broaden your wine and spirits knowledge.

Held in the Pickering Cellar, the space is perfectly suited to convivial wine tastings.
