Description
“Shiraz” may just be Australia’s name for the Syrah grape, but the two words seem to send different messages to consumers about what to expect in the glass. Are there really two distinct styles or is it just semantics? And what about New World producers who choose to call the grape “Syrah” – should we expect it to taste more like New World Shiraz or more like classic Syrah from the Northern Rhône? Join Catherine Owen for an evening exploring the many faces of this grape, sampling a range of wines from both the New and Old Worlds. Hosted by Catherine Owen, Fine Wine Specialist

NB Wines for this event will be chosen from Berry Bros. & Rudd’s stock at the time of the event, so most will be available to order afterwards.
