The two ends of the Rhône Valley are, in wine terms, dissimilar siblings. The North is generally renowned for its heady, perfumed wines with rich fruit and savoury nuances and its focus on single varietals that follow neighbouring Burgundy’s stylistic lead. The South is broad, expansive and generous, glorying in a range of grape varieties and a warmer, more Mediterranean climate. Join your host for a comprehensive introduction to both the white and red wines of the Rhône Valley.
