Description
This is an evening dedicated to exploring the revered white and red wines of Burgundy. Following a delicious apéritif of Crémant de Bourgogne, you will begin by tasting through white wines at different quality levels from the sub-region of Chablis to understand the region’s premier white grape variety, Chardonnay, and to get to grips with the Burgundian quality hierarchy system.
You will then taste through a fleet of white wines from the famous villages of Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault. From there, we will move on to Burgundy’s famous red wines with a selection of Pinot Noirs from the communes of Volnay, Pommard, Nuits-St-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny and Gevrey-Chambertin.
