Côtes de Gascogne is a Vin de Pays French wine appellation, mainly encompassing vineyards around Armagnac in the administrative department of Gers in the south-west of France.
Côtes de Gascogne is France's largest producer of white Vin de Pays, with a production potential of more than 80 millions bottles per year. A wide variety of grapes are permitted in the appellation, including Abouriou, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Duras, Fer, Négrette, Malbec, Tannat for red wines, and Colombard, Jurançon, Len de l'El, Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, Muscadelle, Gros Manseng for white wines.
