Burgundy 2010 En Primeur

There was no hype for 2010 Burgundy at the time of the vintage (unlike Bordeaux) but the wines which have been bottled have turned out to be something special. The reasons for this emerge in the vintage report below

It is mostly a very fine vintage for white burgundy. those who made the right decisions have made some fabulous wines that are very aromatic up front, dense and fleshy in the middle, and with very good acidity behind – almost a 2008 acidity but much better integrated into the main body of the wine...
