Château du Tertre can trace its history back to the 12th century and sits on one of the highest hills in the Margaux commune which is where its name comes from (Tertre meaning knoll). Typically blends of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, its wines easily age for 15 or more years.
During this episode, we also opened a bottle of 2004 Château Brane-Cantenac. To learn more about this producer, click here.
