Javillier Jean & Fils

Javillier Jean & Fils, established in 1933 by Jacques Javillier, is a family-owned winery located in Meursault, Burgundy. Initially managed by Jacques, a former military officer, the estate was later handed down to his son, Jean, and Jean's wife, Christiane, who continued the family's winemaking tradition. In 1971, under Jean's visionary leadership, the domaine became a pioneer in organic viticulture within the Burgundy region, achieving full organic certification.

Today, the estate is managed by Alain and Thierry Javillier, who joined in 1980. They uphold the family's commitment to organic farming, producing a diverse range of prestigious appellations. Their portfolio includes wines such as Meursault, Pommard Premier Cru, and Volnay Premier Cru.
