Founded by Fred Schrader in 1998, Schrader Cellars focuses on single-vineyard, single-varietal wines, particularly from the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard, one of the most renowned vineyards in Napa Valley. The wines are crafted with meticulous attention to detail, resulting in rich, complex, and age-worthy wines.

Schrader Cellars’ success is primarily attributed to its collaboration with Thomas Rivers Brown, a highly acclaimed winemaker who has been with the winery since its inception. Brown’s winemaking philosophy emphasises minimal intervention, allowing the vineyard’s unique characteristics to shine through in each bottle. Over the years, Schrader Cellars has consistently received high scores from critics, with many of its wines earning perfect 100-point ratings from publications like Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator.
