Situated in the picturesque village of Fournès, Domaine Boudinaud is half way between the ancient towns of Avignon and Nîmes, with its Vin de Pays vineyards a mere stones throw from the Pont du Gard. Thierry and Véronique Boudinaud are supplying us with a Vin de Pays Blanc made from Marsanne and Viognier and a textbook Côtes du Rhône.Thierry Boudinaud has acquired in-depth experience as a vintner in both hemispheres. His distinctive, balanced style fruit-oriented, full-bodied, complex, and elegant is evident across the whole range of his reds and whites, which are regularly cited by The Wine Advocate and awarded Coup de Coeur by The Guide Hachette. His wine-making principles support the use of cold maceration in order to extract abundant fruit. To promote purity of fruit, the wine is aged mostly in cement cuves, with very moderate use of new oak.
