Château Rozier is a 23-hectare family-owned right bank estate which produces traditional Saint Emilion from vines which are on average 45 years old. Grapes are manually harvested and owner Jean-Bernard Saby and his two sons are all oenologists who take great pride in the wines they produce. It is classified as a St Emilion Grand Cru.
The vineyard consists of plots in 4 different communes and the wine is typically a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. The grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and the wines are matured in oak barriques (50% new) for 12 months.
