Description

The Côte de Beaune in Burgundy is without doubt considered to be the finest white wine producing region in the world. Though the wines are predominantly crafted from just a singular grape variety, Chardonnay, there is a myriad of styles created by the subtle differences in micro-climate, geology and winemaking.

Join us in the surrounds of our historic Napoleon Cellar for a dinner that will feature the finest of Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, but also a few hidden gems from the lesser-known appellations of St-Aubin and St-Romain. Over the course of the evening, we will sample wines from the entry level Bourgogne Blanc category right up to the highest quality tier of Grand Cru, produced by some of the most exciting names in the region.

To accompany these sensational wines, our Executive Chef, Stewart Turner, will curate an appropriately delectable four-course menu to showcase just how wonderfully they pair with food.

Wines to be tasted:

Apéritif: 2018 Champagne Leclerc Briant, Millésime, Extra Brut
2021 Bourgogne Aligoté, Aux Boutiéres, Vieilles Vignes, Domaine Jean Fournier
2021 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Blanc, Arnaud Baillot
2021 St Romain Blanc, Sous le Château, Benjamin Leroux
2021 St Aubin, Cuvée Luce, Domaine Marc Colin
2021 Puligny-Montrachet, Champ Gain, 1er Cru, Arnaud Baillot
2021 Meursault, Les Charmes Dessus, 1er Cru, Jérôme Patriarche
