Peregrine Wines is collaboration between viticulturist Greg Hay and Adam Peren, the owner of Wentworth Estate where the wines are made. The fruit is sourced from the Central Otago valleys of Gibbston and Cromwell.
Peter Bartle has recently taken over the winemaking duties here, while Greg Hay is the General Manager.
The Sauvignon Blanc is concentrated with flavours of gooseberries, lime juice and passion fruits. The Pinot Gris is an elegant and warm textured wine with attractive flavours of peaches and nuts. But the Pinot Noir is what the estate is famous for and is always outstanding, displaying a classic array of ripe black fruits, dried spices and herbs.
