Description

Most of the wines tonight will come from the 2015 and 2014 vintages, allowing you to concentrate on the impact of a vineyard’s location and quality. After a glass of a beautiful Crémant de Limoux, we will delve into a trio from Chablis with different quality levels (village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru) giving us the perfect opportunity to cover their importance in this region. We will then move on to a famous quartet of whites from Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Pouilly-Fuissé. From there we will taste the famous Burgundian reds including a Nuits-St Georges, Vosne-Romanée and Gevrey-Chambertin. The evening’s exciting finale comes in the form of an aged Gevrey Chambertin Les Corbeaux from 2008.
