Join the table with celebrated historian Andrew Roberts as he talks about Sir Winston Churchill’s relationship with alcohol. Andrew Roberts is a highly revered biographer and historian whose works include: Salisbury: Victorian Titan (winner of the Wolfson Prize for History); Masters and Commanders; and, The Storm of War (No. 2 on the Sunday Times bestseller list).

His most recent book is Napoleon the Great (2014), which won the Grand Prix of the Fondation Napoléon. Roberts is a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and the Royal Historical Society. He appears regularly on British television and radio and writes for the Sunday Telegraph, The Spectator, Literary Review, Mail on Sunday and Daily Telegraph. You will be joined by host Will Lyons who will choose classic wines for the evening including the deluxe Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill by Pol Roger. Guests will also receive a signed first edition of Andrew’s forthcoming book Churchill: Walking with Destiny.
