In the red corner is a bottle apiece of Bedrock Wine Co.’s The Whole Shebang, a masterclass in multi-variety blending; Tablas Creek’s Patelin de Tablas Southern Rhône blend; and Boony Doon’s Bordeaux-inspired A Proper Claret. The whites are represented by Qupé’s peachy, rich Modern White; the bold and eccentric Wild Boy Chardonnay from Au Bon Climat; and David Ramey’s almost Loire-esque Sidebar Sauvignon Blanc.
