Description
Fine Wine Educator, Nick Kemball, will be at the helm for an evening devoted to discovering the vinous delights that the Loire Valley has to offer. From the mineral, crisp and racy white wines of Muscadet, Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, to the deep, complex and food-friendly reds of Bourgeuil and Saumur, this evening will provide you with the perfect introduction to the wines of a perennially overlooked and underrated region.
We will begin the tasting by exploring the dry whites produced from Melon de Bourgogne, Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc. Next, we will encounter the reds, made from Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc. The tasting will conclude with the chance to try aged sweet Vouvray from one of the region’s most famous names, Domaine Huet.
