Introduction to the Wines Of Italy, Wednesday 26th June 2024

With an estimated 1000-plus indigenous grape varieties, the wines of Italy can be baffling even to the well-versed wine-drinker and downright daunting to the uninitiated. Though tasting every grape variety in a two-hour masterclass is perhaps impossible, join us for a relaxed yet educational evening designed to demystify the country. Just one tasting with us and you’ll be left feeling able to tackle your next Italian wine list with confidence and gusto. 

After an apéritif, your host will guide you through a fleet of white and red wines. We’ll cover classic regions such as Veneto, Piedmont and Tuscany alongside lesser-known areas such as Sicily and Sardinia. As ever, to keep you going through the evening, we will provide a delicious selection of Italian olives, cheese and charcuterie, served with freshly baked focaccia.
