Description

Join historian Hugh McDonald-Buchanan in our cellars to explore the history of the Bordeaux and how a relationship with Britain has developed. Your Berry bros. & Rudd wine expert will set you a tasting of 3 styles of Bordeaux wine. In the meantime, Hugh will elaborate on the history of the region while you tuck into a selection of delicious dishes. In medieval times, Bordeaux was part of the Angevin Empire which established links with Britain that have been maintained by trade, especially in wines, up to the present day. Another fascinating subject for lunchtime learning.
