2015 Sidebar Sauvignon Blanc Gift Box

At an altitude of 550m David Ramey’s vineyard has the coolest climate in the Lake Country area which is perfect for Sauvignon Blanc growing as it allows the grapes to maintain a high level of acidity. A small percentage of the wine is matured in oak giving richness and complexity and it is also rested on its less for 4 months giving a wonderful texture on the palate. The result is a white showing good varietal character without being overblown; citrus fruit mingles with mineral notes and the palate culminates in a crisp bright finish. A delightful match for white fish, light salads and creamy cheeses.
