South America Mixed 6-Bottle Case

This mixed case features all the vivacity and verve of South America, bottled. The sole white representative is a dry, balsamic-tinged Chardonnay from Chile’s up and coming Itata Valley region. Also from Itata is a light, aromatic Cinsault from De Martino; its heady blackberry and currant-filled Cabernet Sauvignon from Maipo also features. Argentina, the other vinous superpower in the region, accounts for the other three bottles. Two are Malbecs: Lote 44, from the Uco Valley’s Bodegas Cuarto Dominio, is big, bold and bursting with black fruit and liquorice flavours. La Flor from Pulenta is a delightfully fresh and floral example of this ever-popular variety. Last, but not least, is an exceptionally well balanced, red fruit flavoured Cabernet Sauvignon from the aptly named Ambrosía.
